Bloggin' 'bout music

So I've decided to create this blog about music. Popular music to be more specific. I've been a music fan since, oh, as long as I can remember my mom playing The Beatles on vinyl. My first favorite song was "Beautiful Loser," a 1975 rock song written and recorded by Bob Seger. I couldn't have been more than 4 or 5 years old. My first favorite band was Queen. I remember in 5th grade bringing my friends over to our house just to listen to Bohemian Rhapsody. My musical preferences have changed over the years, but my musical roots will always be classic rock n' roll.

My motivation for this blog is to do something constructive after all these years (countless hours) of listening to and researching popular music. And I hope people who read this will share their opinions / experiences about their favorite music.
